Concordia introduces community paper recycling

In an effort to become more environmentally friendly, the employees of Concordia Lutheran Ministries introduced a paper-recycling program at the organization's Cabot location on Earth Day, April 22.

The employees hope to recycle three tons of paper per month.

Paper products that Concordia can recycle include newspapers and inserts, magazines/catalogs, office papers, hard cover books (with the bindings removed), and most direct mail pieces. Concordia cannot recycle cardboard, phone books, or food boxes. Look for the green and yellow bin behind Lund and help save our natural resources for future generations.

For information on Concordia's paper-recycling program, contact Cathy Bullion at 724.352.1571, ext. 8503. For more information on Concordia, visit on the Web at www.concordialm.org.
