Armstrong state police reports

The following reports were issued by state police:

SHELOCTA (Indiana County) -- Stacey Lewis, 35, and Allen Kimmel, 29, both of Shelocta, were arrested and jailed on drug charges after a search warrant was issued for their home at 332 Main St. at 6 p.m. Friday. Investigators said they seized 492 bags of heroin, small amounts of crack cocaine and marijuana, $1,112 cash, a stolen Ruger 9mm pistol, various packaging materials and scales. Police estimated the street value of the heroin at $7,000. Both were arraigned and placed in the Indiana County Jail, where they are being held on charges possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, receiving stolen property and criminal conspiracy.

MANOR -- Two people were injured when a car driven by Troy D. Condron, 41, of Big Run collided with the rear of a car driven by Kelly Dugan, 32, of Pittsburgh at the intersection of Route 422 and Ping Wing Hollow Road at 11:30 a.m. Sunday. Dugan and another driver, Randy Boarts, 52, of Indiana were stopped on Route 422 for a vehicle that was making a turn when Condron's vehicle struck Dugan's car, pushing it into the rear of Boarts' vehicle. A 13-year-old female passenger in Condron's vehicle and Dugan suffered minor injuries in the crash. Condron and Boarts were not injured. Manor Township and Kittanning Township fire departments assisted at the scene.

ARMSTRONG (Indiana County) -- No injuries were reported when a sport utility vehicle, driven by Joseph M. Kensinger, 20, of Commodore collided with the rear of a sport utility vehicle driven by Tanieka D. Cornish, 30, of Dayton on Route 422 at 2:33 p.m. Friday. Cornish had stopped for another vehicle and was struck from behind as Kensinger was distracted by his radio and was unable to stop. Kensinger was cited for careless driving. Kensinger, Cornish, and Cornish's passenger, Michael Cornish, 31, and two children, ages 12 and 8, were not injured.

MANOR -- William A. Farmer, 27, of Kittanning was cited for following too closely after his car struck the rear of a sport utility vehicle driven by Frank Liperote, 71, of Kittanning at the intersection of Indiana Pike Hill and South Water Street at 12:15 p.m. Friday. No injuries were reported.

BETHEL -- Amanda Kerfonta, 30, of Apollo suffered minor injuries when her sport utility vehicle was struck from behind by a coal truck driven by Kenneth Cousins, 40, of Kittanning at the intersection of Route 66 and Dime Road at 11:06 a.m. Thursday. Cousins was not injured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

NORTH BUFFALO -- Harry J. Kelly, no age given, of Pittsburgh was not injured when his car struck a deer along Route 28 at 5:25 a.m. Saturday. He was wearing a seat belt at the time. His car was towed from the scene.

KITTANNING TWP. -- An unknown driver struck a gas meter owned by Dominion Peoples Gas on Route 422 near the intersection of Graham Road at 4:40 p.m. Friday. The driver fled the scene.

WASHINGTON -- Thomas Albert Gauker, 42, of Adrian was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after he was found sleeping in his vehicle while the vehicle's engine was running and stopped in the middle of Ridge Road, blocking both lanes. The incident occurred at 3:50 a.m. Saturday.

EAST FRANKLIN -- A 37-year-old Kittanning male faces driving under the influence charges after he was stopped for several traffic violations along Wible Road and Commerce Drive at 3 a.m. Saturday and was found to be intoxicated.

EAST FRANKLIN -- Raquel Boniver, 20, of Kittanning reported a person known to her threatened her while she was at Wal-Mart in the Hilltop Plaza at 8 p.m. Oct. 14 because she was a witness in a child abuse case. Police said the investigation is continuing.

MANOR -- Dennis Baker, 23, of Kittanning was charged with indirect criminal contempt after he violated a protection from abuse order against him at 10 a.m. Friday.

MADISON -- Michael Anthony Polka, 21, of Templeton reported a 21-year-old male and a 23-year-old male assaulted him while at the intersection of Gun Club Road and Chickasaw Road at 10:30 p.m. Friday.

COWANSHANNOCK -- David Rearick, 56, of Rural Valley reported a .22 caliber Remington rifle, valued at $400, was stolen from his Powder House Road home between 4 p.m. Tuesday and 4 a.m. Wednesday. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-543-2011.

BRADYS BEND -- An unknown white male drove into the Bradys Bend Car Wash at the intersection of Route 68 and Kittanning Hollow Road and attempted to steal money from the change machines at 5:10 a.m. Friday. Police said the male's vehicle was described as an older, two-door vehicle with louvers on the back window.

SUGARCREEK -- Daniel Baker, 47, of Cowansville reported a .22 caliber Savage rifle was stolen from the front porch of his Porterfield Hill Road home between Monday and Friday. The rifle was described as being all black and having a black scope.

APOLLO -- Luther Cummings, 49, of Apollo reported his 2001 Hyundai Accent was stolen from in front of his home near the intersection of South Second Street and South Pennsylvania Avenue between 10:30 p.m. Friday and 5:30 a.m. Saturday. The car was described as green, and the license plate number is GPS-0799.

MANOR -- Jonathan Price Jr., 19, of Kittanning reported his 1999 Ford Taurus was damaged while in the parking lot of Iseman's Pet Store along Fifth Avenue between 11:30 a.m. Friday and 4 a.m. Saturday.

SUGARCREEK -- Jerry Bowser, 50, of Kittanning reported someone scratched the paint on his 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle and punctured the leather seat while the motorcycle was parked on Route 268 between noon Oct. 30 and 9:30 p.m. Friday.
