The first session is 10 a.m.-noon and will be repeated 1-3 p.m. Two programs will be offered per session. "Down and Dirty" deals with the importance of soil and will focus on composition and conservation. During the second program, scouts will discover how to become Pennsylvania conservation "iCons" by learning simple techniques to minimize energy use.
Boy Scout den leaders and Girl troop leaders must pre-register their scouts for one of the two sessions by calling the Jennings Center at 724-794-2682 Wednesday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The suggested donation for the program is one dollar per child, and group size is limited.
