• Patrick O'Brien was elected to the board of directors and appointed by the board to serve as First Federal Savings Bank's president and chief executive officer.

Julie J. Herstine and Lucas Rihely, both accountants with Cottrill, Arbutina Professional Services, received their licenses as certified public accountants from the Pennsylvania State Board of Accountancy.

Gary M. DeJidas, president and chief executive officer of GAI Consultants Inc., was elected to Point Park University's board of trustees.

• At Cenk Chiropractic: Dr. Ryan D. Kauffman was named clinic director of the Harmarville office; Dr. Thomas Brinzer was named clinic director of the Gibsonia office; and Dr. Katherine Eckert joined the main office in Fox Chapel as an associate.
• Dr. MaryBeth Pope Salama, team physician for VITAS Innovative Hospice Care of Greater Pittsburgh, was certified by the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
• RedPath Integrated Pathology Inc. named Dr. Dennis M. Smith Jr. chief medical officer.

• The Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh appointed Debra Tucker vice president of programs and services.
• Kenneth J. Nesbit was hired as center coordinator for the Hill District First Source Center, currently under construction.
• Pittsburgh Opera welcomed Jennie Brock Leghart as director of finance.
• Print Management production coordinator Erin Keenan became certified as a mailpiece quality control specialist by the U.S. Postal Service.
