Rachel Weaver joined RTI International Metals Inc. as director of corporate human resources.

BANKING, FINANCE

• At Fragasso Financial Advisors, Robert Fragasso was named chairman and chief executive officer and Deborah Sales Graver was named president and chief operating officer.

• FedFirst Financial Corp., parent company of First Federal Savings Bank, named R. Carlyn Belczyk to its board of directors. She is secretary, treasurer and shareholder with Guthrie, Belczyk & Associates P.C.

Dana C. Craig, first vice president-investments, and Michael J. Goodworth, vice president, joined Merrill Lynch as financial advisers in its Downtown office.

ACCOUNTING

Carbis Walker LLP added as associates: Zachary Tappe, manufacturing & distribution services team; and Robert Regan and Ashley Kujbus, both health care services team.

LEGAL

Pollock Begg Komar Glasser LLC partners Brian C. Vertz and Elisabeth Bennington were inducted as fellows by the Allegheny County Bar Foundation. Both focus their practice in divorce, support and custody law.

Euro RSCG Worldwide PR North America appointed Pattie Sullivan, Susan English and Courtney Myers senior vice presidents. Other promotions: Mandy Haines to account supervisor, Melissa Rieger to senior account executive, Laura Pegg to account executive and Kelly Kalmar to assistant account executive.

EDUCATION

• The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine selected Dr. Michael Boninger as chair of the department of physical medicine and rehabilitation. He is director of the UPMC Institute for Rehabilitation and Research, associate dean for medical student research at the school of medicine and has secondary appointments in the university's school of engineering and school of health and rehabilitation sciences. Boninger is director of the university's Model Center on Spinal Cord Injury and medical director of the Human Engineering Research Laboratories, a joint venture among UPMC, the University of Pittsburgh and the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System.

HEALTH CARE

Health Assistance Program for Personnel and Industry and UPMC Passavant-Cranberry named Dr. Shadrach Jones IV and Dr. Hardy Bang occupational medicine physicians. Jones is the program's medical director.

NONPROFITS

Pressley Ridge named Jennifer Fraps director of development.

OTHER

Ken Grugel, director of financial aid/veterans affairs at Clarion University, was elected president of the Pennsylvania Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators.

• The American Angus Association received Lone Wolf Farm, Mt. Pleasant, as a member and Paige M Moore, of Mt. Pleasant, as a junior member.

AWARDS

Farm accountant Connie Dennison was recognized with a Certificate of Excellence from the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau MSC Business Services. She is a senior account supervisor in Somerset, Westmoreland, Fayette and Indiana counties.
