Tom Brady: Super Bowl winner, Stetson wearer
What's Tom Brady accessorizing his Super Bowl ring with these days? A cowboy hat.
The New England Patriots quarterback is the new Stetson man, appearing in ads for the fragrance produced by Coty. The company says Brady has universal appeal, calling him "the cowboy on the ranch and the urban cowboy."
Stetson Original debuted in 1981 with its now classic mix of citrus and amber notes.
Even though he's a model now, Brady told the AP in a phone interview that he doesn't spend much time on his appearance. "I've always been a fragrance wearer. As men, that's the extent of grooming -- showering, cologne and, hopefully, brushing your teeth."
He is getting pretty comfortable in a Stetson hat, though, recently taking one on a fishing trip to Wyoming.
"When you're working with Stetson, you have a lot of great choices of hats. I got a brown one and a black one," Brady says. "I haven't walked down the streets of New York in it, but I'll find the appropriate place. I wear it in the places where there is peace and quiet."
