OK ladies, now it's time for you to catch a glimpse of strut-your-stuff street wear couture.

The Time Bomb Heiress collection, designed just for women, is a funky, edgy, clothing line that will be showcased at a fashion show on Thursday at Moto in the Strip District.

"This line has a New York street edge," says Brian Brick, owner of the show's host, Time Bomb Spot in Shadyside. "There are lots of little details on the clothes. We researched what is in for women. We have lots of cool stuff."

The clothing is fashion forward. It's the female version of the type of men's apparel that the store has carried during the past 12 years. The show will mark the debut of a collaboration with Blast Clothing.

"There is a large hip-hop community in Pittsburgh, and Time Bomb is well-known among that community," says Katie Maillis, women's clothing buyer for Time Bomb, who's in charge of the show. "This line for women is a standout kind of make-a-statement line. We know what's hip."

Some of the lines are exclusive to Time Bomb, which targets the under-35 crowd. A selection of designers that Time Bomb carries is 10 Deep, Jeepney, Rebel 8, Hellz Bellz and Dime Piece.

Time Bomb was voted Pittsburgh's No. 1 Hip-Hop Clothing Store at last year's Pittsburgh Hip Hop Awards.

"We try to keep it fresh," Brick says. "We also keep it different. That's why we go to New York to see what's out there and bring that look back to Pittsburgh."

Brick sells more than clothing. He has CDs, DVDs and releases from local rappers. There are a lot of wanna-be rappers in Pittsburgh who are chasing the dream, and Brick gives them an opportunity to try and become big time. He also allows artists to drop off posters and invites them to help promote upcoming shows and events.

Brick is confident this new line will hit it big with women.

The purpose of the fashion show is to let females know the store is not just for men any longer, Mallis says.

"Our street wear for women goes from contemporary to very crazy," she says. "There is something for everyone, and not just clothes. We have watches and sunglasses and shoes. We carry some of the top brands and brands that you can't get many other places in Pittsburgh."

You will be able to see these exclusive brands at the red-carpet show where 20 girls and five guys will model a wide range of clothing. DJ Rob Swift, all the way from New York, will be in town to spin the tunes. Look for Pittsburgh's own DJ Selecta and Time Bomb's DJ Hank D.

"This is not going to be your normal fashion show," Maillis says. "It will be wild and fun and crazy. We can't wait. It's going to be pretty cool."
