The owners of Folino's Restaurant and Tom's Diner will again team with volunteers from the Rotary of the South Side, the Brashear Association and city police to prepare and deliver Thanksgiving meals to the elderly, needy and homeless in the area patrolled by the Zone 3 police station in Allentown.

A student from Phillips Elementary won a contest, sponsored last year by the Rotary, naming the annual event, "Get Stuffed with Love."

In related news, members of the Hot Metal Bridge Faith Community, who also will help prepare and serve meals, will host a free Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 2 p.m. Thanksgiving Day at the Brashear Association, 2005 Sarah St., South Side.
