Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., was booed at the South Carolina Republican Convention on Saturday. No wonder: He supports the horrid "compromise reform" proposal that effectively gives amnesty to 12 million-plus illegal aliens. Given the reception, Mr. Graham could find his seat at risk in next year's election. ... That said, however, Graham has turned into the perfect "anti-Arlen Specter" in the Alberto Gonzales debate. While Sen. Specter, R-Philadelphia, keeps beating the drum for the attorney general's resignation (without actually calling for his resignation), Graham says Congress is playing "gotcha games" and deftly reminds there's no evidence of illegality in the U.S. attorney firings. Of course, that makes no difference when, as Specter is, you're looking for a scalp. ... A Canadian student tells the National Post he's been forced to watch Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" by four different teachers this school year. If this isn't liberal indoctrination, we don't know what is.
