A 58-year-old North Huntingdon man, indicted last year for having images of child pornography on his computer, pleaded guilty this week to a charge of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Edward Joseph Northup entered a guilty plea Monday before Senior U.S. District Judge Maurice B. Cohill in Pittsburgh.
Northup admitted possessing child pornography on his computer in January 2007.
Cohill scheduled sentencing for Oct. 8. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.
The state police Area III Computer Crime Task Force conducted the investigation that led to the arrest.
