Your Best Shot
We're looking for scenic, thought-provoking or humorous images from family travels, business trips or volunteer vacations.
The photograph's focus must be on the setting or an interesting point of view. No family or friends mugging for the camera or standing near a statue, please.
Horizontal, vertical or panoroamic prints will be accepted. The photo can be black and white or color. Do not send originals. We can not return photographs.
If you send a photo by regular mail, tape a note to the back and include the following information (for verification purposes): Your name, address and telephone number. Also give us a short paragraph explaining what we are looking at in the photo, including landmark name, city, state and country, and when it was taken.
If you send it by e-mail, the photograph must be a JPEG file of at least 200 dpi. Please attach the photo to your e-mail and include the above information in your note. Please mark the subject field: "Your Best Shot Entry."
If your photograph is selected, we will publish it in the newspaper and on our Web site with your name, your hometown and a brief, edited description of the setting. We will publish the selected photo in the Travel section on the first Sunday of every month.
Send a copy of your photo to Laura Jennings, Tribune-Review Travel Department, 622 Cabin Hill Drive, Greensburg, PA 15601 or e-mail it to ljennings@tribweb.com.
