As summer fades, pink will make transition into fall
Pink clothes and accessories are holding over into fall, usually a time when dark jewel tones and earth tones take over the fashion scene.
But don't get confused -- your perky pastels and summery brights aren't exactly the hues that translate well into fall. Dusky roses, icier tones and shadings that lean more toward mauve will make your outift stand out. Match them with black and gray for a more traditional look or browns and tans for a trendier outfit. Pinks and tweeds are a natural.
For just a touch of pink to update an otherwise monochromatic wardrobe, try a single accessory, such as Kenneth Cole's "Seem-less" pink suede pump, available at Footloose in Mt. Lebanon.
