Woman wins $33,000 in Rolling Rock contest
The Steelers' 33-30 win Dec. 18 over the New York Giants meant a $33,000 check for Dolores Bock of Shaler.
She scored big as the winner of the Latrobe Brewing Co.'s Rolling Rock contest that awards $33,000 to a contestant if the Steelers score 33 points.
The number 33 has been associated with the beer since its creation in 1939. The number appears on the back of every bottle and can of Rolling Rock and has become one of the brand's most famous "icons."
Bock is the first person to win in the five years that Rolling Rock has been sponsoring the contest. The last time the Steelers finished with a score of 33 was in 1991.
