Well, it's the middle of winter and people are driving a lot less than in summer, right?
Yet gas prices are still climbing. Whoever heard of a 10 cent increase in January or February? So much for the good old "supply and demand" excuse that OPEC and the big Texas oil corporations use.
It's nice to know that oil company profits are increasing by the billions (per quarter) while the rest of us scrape change from our ashtrays for a fill-up. When is somebody going to step up and challenge these "supply and greed" corporations?
I'm sure it's not a big deal to our senators and congressmen, since they have expense accounts to use for such things. But it is a big deal to the "working" public like the rest of us.
