Patron sues strip club over 2003 beating
Brandon Mallick, of 135 Reservoir Road, Vanderbilt, stated in the suit filed Friday that he was beaten by an unidentified man on Nov. 29, 2003, in the parking lot of the Filly Corral near Smithton.
Filed on Mallick's behalf with the Westmoreland County prothonotary by Pittsburgh lawyer Joseph F. Pass, the suit seeks an unspecified amount in excess of $30,000 from the club's owners for failure to maintain a secure parking area.
Pass states in the suit that the unidentified man had been in the lot harassing patrons of the club for an "extended period of time" prior to the assault.
Mallick suffered a punctured eyeball during the attack, according to the suit.
Pass couldn't be reached for comment.
