Pacquiao almost set to take on Mayweather
Manny Pacquiao is likely to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. on March 13 after agreeing to a proposal from promoter Bob Arum on Friday.
"The requests of Manny were so realistic that Arum doesn't feel it's a problem, and it's pretty much a done deal," Pacquiao's adviser, Michael Koncz, said.
"The difference between Floyd and others I have fought is that Floyd makes a lot of trash talk that should not be imitated by young people," Pacquiao said.

» The NBA suspended Milwaukee Bucks coach Scott Skiles one game without pay Friday for his actions toward an official, becoming the first coach to receive such a penalty in nearly seven years. Skiles was given two quick technical fouls and ejected late in the first quarter of Wednesday's 104-102 loss to Washington. After the ejection, Skiles walked all the way to halfcourt to continue his argument before leaving. The NBA said Skiles refused to leave the court in a timely manner. The last NBA coach to be suspended for an interaction with a referee was Utah's Jerry Sloan, who was banned seven games in January 2003 for making contact with an official.
» LeBron James can't imagine having a female teammate or posting up against a woman in the NBA. Asked about commissioner David Stenrn's assertion that women could make the NBA within the next decade, James said, "Ten years? That's like right around the corner. I'll be 34 and I'll still be in the NBA. I think 10 years is a little pushing it. I love all sports. I love watching the girls, especially in the Olympics and in the WNBA. They're great and there are a lot of great players. But 10 years? I think that's pushing it." Cavaliers forward Anthony Parker, whose sister, Candace, is perhaps the top women's player in the world, agreed with James. "First of all, I don't see why, other than to say a woman can do it," he said. "But for long term? No way. My sister is a good player and has great skill, but as far as making an NBA roster? No. She's 6-4, which is the average height of a shooting guard."
